J. F. Rogers lives in Southern Maine with her husband, daughter, pets…and usually an imaginary friend or two. She has a degree in Behavioral Science and teaches a 5th & 6th grade Sunday School class. When she’s not entertaining Tuki the Mega Mutt, her constant companion and greatest distraction, she’s likely tap tap tapping away at her keyboard, praying the words will miraculously align just so. Faith-Filled Fantasy
J F didn’t start out trying to write Christian fantasy. She didn’t even know what that was! But her first book inadvertently became Christian and she hasn’t been able to stop writing faith-based fantasy since. And there are many hurting people out there who need Jesus. They don’t know they are loved. They need to know.
Why fantasy?
Wouldn’t it be easier to share Christian values through traditional fiction in the real world? No! For one, fantasy is J F Roger’s favorite genre and it allows her to use her overactive imagination, build worlds, and illustrate real world issues without offending any people groups… because they don’t exist. Shhh! Her characters don’t know that.
Finding Clean Fantasy
What happens when you bought a book and you start reading and immediately come across offensive language?
